“Correspondence (서신)” 은 현대 고고학 연구의 한 형태입니다.
하지메 기무라는 고고학 유적으로 유명한 리스본 북쪽의 토레스 베드라스 지역을 여행했습니다. 기무라는 고대 해변 중 한 곳을 조사하면서 현재의 풍경과 산책 중에 발견한 물건과 쓰레기를 기록하고, 우리가 관심을 기울이지 않는 이 쓰레기나 오늘날의 동식물이 미래의 고고학 연구 대상이 될 수 있다고 상상하면서, 고고학자의 방식으로 ‘발굴'의 장소, 날짜, 시간을 표시했습니다.

“Correspondence” is a modern archaeological investigation.
Hajime Kimura traveled to the Torres Vedras region, north of Lisbon, famous for its archaeological remains. Surveying one of these ancient beaches, Kimura documented the current landscapes and the objects and waste he found during his walks, imagining that this rubbish to which we do not pay attention, or the flora and fauna of today, could be the subject of archaeological research in the future and indicating, in the manner of an archaeologist, the places, dates and times of their “excavation”.
