A meditation on the stone age monuments and structures surrounding my studio in West Penwith, Cornwall. Illustrated through the medium of arranged and fallen rubble created during the renovation of the studio, this work is an attempt to draw parallels between the use of balance, light and labour used in previous millennia with actions within the same place today. Borne of a sense of continuation with the past at the same time as an understanding of the difference in purpose with our ancestors, this book is the result of both a spiritual and physical journey through the ancient and contemporary landscape of my home.
